Astrid was the lead developer in the original My Changed Body writing activity during her PhD undertaken at Macquarie University. My Changed Body is a therapeutic writing activity that combines expressive writing and self-compassion based therapy. It was specifically designed for women who had experienced body image disturbance and psychological distress after their breast cancer treatment.
